Sometimes I find country living too different and Sometimes I find country living too different and unsuitable. But then I have days that exhaust me. Or I am riddled with anxiety and uncertainty - a common theme for me as of late. Or just need to clear my head. Then I find the country to be the best medicine. Maybe it’s the crisp cold air. Or the soothing of the rushing glen. Or the sound of the ravens nesting nearby. Or the soft, cushy moss under my feet. Whatever it is, I am so grateful even when it all feels so unsure. Now is the perfect time to visit the Finger Lakes if you enjoy waterfalls. Through mud season and again during the rainy days of fall these waterways are the most active and beautiful.
