Residence Inn by Marriott Brentwood Nashville

Residence Inn has partnered up with us* during our 2010 Road Trip Adventure, and we really couldn’t be happier. As I have mentioned in my previous posts, I consider the Residence Inn hotels to be a perfect fit for our family. Not only because of the size of the rooms, but also because of the amenities found throughout. These reviews are to give you feedback of our experiences with them and a small view into what you can expect from a stay at any of the locations we experienced.

Upon our visit to Nashville we stay in the Residence Inn by Marriott Brentwood Nashville. We arrived later in the night, and were exhausted.

Our two-bedroom suite was ideal not only in size, but in location as well. On the first floor and located right across the pool, this would have been an even more perfect spot for us had we been able to stay longer.

The room included two-bedrooms with queen size beds as well as a pull out couch in the living room. There was also the standard full service kitchen. Complimentary breakfast is served every morning as well. In addition, this particular location also hosts nightly dinner events for their guests during the week which allow the guests to get to know the General Managers and staff as well as other guests in the hotel. Sadly we missed the festivities for dinner.

During breakfast I was able to observe the GM interact with his guests (before introducing myself to him), some of which he seemed to know personally. He was courteous and helpful, but most of all let his guests know he was available for whatever they needed. This always makes me feel good about the hotel as it sends a clear message that your comfort is their utmost priority.

The drive to downtown Nashville is about 20 minutes, and I found the prices for staying in the Brentwood area much more affordable then staying in the downtown area. A two-bedroom, 2 bathroom suite around the time of our stay was $179.00 a night with better offers available with more extended stays.

The hotel also offers free internet connection (with cable provided in room), a small fitness center, and small office area with fax service.

Our short stay was comfortable and pleasant, further complimented by the friendliness and approachable nature of the GM there.

Thank you to the Management and Staff at Residence Inn by Marriott Brentwood Nashville for their service and hospitality.

Taking in the sunset by the lake. We enjoy coming Taking in the sunset by the lake. We enjoy coming to the lake much later in the day when most people have left, and when we get to take a dip after a long, hot day to reset and relax.

Almost 4 years since we moved to the Finger Lakes and I still can’t believe this is my lucky life. ❤️

Thank you Toronto for the fun! This NYC girlie e Thank you Toronto for the fun!

This NYC girlie enjoyed experiencing a different city, and finally making it to this one especially.

I felt no pressure to check a bunch of things off “for the ‘gram” so enjoyed slowly touring around and spending time in areas I enjoyed the most.

For those who have never been, like any city in the summer, it can be unpleasant on terribly hot days, and super crowded in touristy spots, but there are beaches and museums to escape to! People also seem generally friendlier.

Toronto is really spread out so getting around can take awhile because of traffic, and public transport can get crowded at certain times. Best bet are the commuter bikes or walking - which we did tons of, especially in search of good coffee. There is a lot of good food but depending on where you are, you’ll have to travel a ways for it.

In general, I found it to be an interesting city, with a vibrant and strong immigrant community, which I loved, and am excited to return and see more someday soon!

In all my years as a travel blogger the one place that seemed logical for me to visit cause of proximity and accesss was Toronto. But I never did. Till now.

We’re staying in the city, in a home swap through (but not sponsored by) @livekindred and we’re excited to explore this city with the boys, one last trip before college, and see what I’ve been missing!

Antonio, I am proud of the man you are growing up to be and know that you are destined for amazing things.

I miss the baby you once were because omg, you were the best baby, but I look forward to continuing to experience this journey of growth you are on.

Happy Birthday, Antonio. I love you more than words could ever express.
