Taking a Bus Tour to NYC Landmarks with Kids in Tow

Being a true New Yorker, I couldn't wrap my head around such a good deal, so they offered to let me try it. Thus, on a Saturday morning, my family and I made our way to see New York as tourists. Normally, when you book the $10.00 tour you have the option to be pick[...]

During my recent excursions to Orlando, FL, one of the most fun things I did was taste some of the best dishes offered by a few restaurants found in the various theme parks. I have had a few bad culinary experiences at theme parks before, and am not much of a giant[...]

Wave Hill: A Nature Haven Amidst The Concrete Jungle

Recently, a darling friend invited me to join her on a little play date excursion to the Bronx.  I know you're thinking, "Why the Bronx?". But really, if you haven't discovered all the Bronx has to offer, than you are truly missing out. Because among many things,[...]

Loosing Your Breath at Top of The Rock, NY

The weather in NYC lately has been AMAZING. The days just beg for you to be outside, laying on the grassy lawns of Central Park, sipping a cold drink in an outdoor eatery, hanging out with the kiddos at the zoo. Anything and everything, except be inside. You just w[...]

We found this spot a few years ago, before we moved to the area full time while at a rental nearby and immediately fell in love with its community and cozy vibe, and delicious coffee.

It’s even cuter than when we first visited while all the reasons we love it remain. Always worth a stop when in Geneva.
