Kids Ski Free at Keystone Resort, CO!

There are so many reasons to love Keystone Resort in Colorado. My family and I still talk about the many fun times there and the smiles on my children’s faces as they learned to ski is still engraved in my mind as one of my most proudest moments.

Thus, I am beyond thrilled at today’s announcement that kids 12 and under will ski free, no blackout dates! Meaning, whenever families like to travel (which usually means during school breaks and holiday season), kids still have access to the mountain, free of charge.

This also includes an Epic day card attached to their left tickets, and no adult accompaniment restrictions.

The only requirement is that you book a two-night stay minimum at anyone of Keystone Resorts lodging sites.

Keystone is also expanding their Kidtopia program from events on selected dates, to events every day during the season.

Keystone Resort’s latest efforts are to help welcome more families to the mountain. They will continue to expand their programs to include tweens and teens.

Also not to be missed for winter 2012-2013, is a Burton Riglet Park and board rentals that will be offered in the resort’s Mountain House area. Designed for the youngest snowboarders, ages three to six, Burton’s revolutionary board and park design operate under the mantra of “if they can walk, they can ride” and introduce the basics of snowboarding in a fun and interactive environment.

The flexibility will definitely make it easier for family travelers to experience all the wonderful things Keystone Resort has to offer, and I am excited to see what else they have in store for us fans!
