A Return to France

That's right, my friends. I'm going back to France. There's so much more to see and do. I will be in France for a total of 35 days, meeting my family towards the latter part for our epic Storybook adventure. But before we get too ahead of ourselves, I wanted[...]

Castles and Caves: Exploring the Loire Valley

I have learned a lot from my visits to France. Some of it being how much I so enjoy the countryside. Granted, I haven't really gotten to see too many coastal towns, but the countryside, the smaller cities, and vineyards are my absolute favorite destinations. It's[...]

A Walk Back in Time at Saint-Émilion, France

What I love the most about my visits to Europe is how you can learn so much not just from its literature, but also from taking a tour, walking around, or admiring their surrounding architecture. There are countless cities and villages like these, but when in France[...]

The Storybook Experience that is Bergerac, France

One of the stops that I made during my whirlwind adventure to the Bordeaux wine region was in Bergerac, in the Dordogne of France. I wasn't really sure what to expect. Up to that moment every one of my experiences had been pretty spectacular, enough so that I've re[...]

A Night in Bordeaux, France in Photography

I wanted to share my night in Bordeaux with you through photos since words fail me when thinking of how I could describe it all. There's a lot that happened before I took these photos, but those stories will have to wait till I am not as tired as I am now (I ha[...]

Eating Your Way Through Richmond, VA

"Why are you going to Richmond?" I got asked this question so many more times than I care to remember before taking the hour and a half flight from Newark into Virginia's capital. Why. Mainly because I have learned that often times some of the best experiences c[...]

Unique Winery Experiences in Napa

Oh, how I enjoy Napa. Just like there is a wine for each palate, so is there a winery for each personality. On my first visit, I got to check out some pretty incredible wineries, but going back made me realize I didn't even begin to cover the tip of it all. And tru[...]

We found this spot a few years ago, before we moved to the area full time while at a rental nearby and immediately fell in love with its community and cozy vibe, and delicious coffee.

It’s even cuter than when we first visited while all the reasons we love it remain. Always worth a stop when in Geneva.
